Mario s actor, Charles Martinet, wants to give voice to the character until I die

When it comes to Super Mario s voice, there is simply no other actor as recognized as Charles Martinet. Other actors have played the character in the animation and the cinema, but Martinet has been the exclusive voice of the character in the video games, which goes back in the early 1990s. If Martinet goes out with his, he will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. During an appearance in Fan Expo Canada, Martinet participated in a fans questions and answers session, where he was asked about him for Mario and how long he plans to continue working with Nintendo.

I want to give Mario voice until he dies. If someday I think I am no longer able to do it, I will tell Nintendo to look for someone else ».

The next version of Martinet about the character will be heard at the end of this week when Superestrellas of Mario Party Launches in Nintendo Switch. In addition to Mario, Martinet gives voice to other Nintendo characters, including Luigi, Wario and Weligi. During the Fan Expo Questions and Answers session, Martinet also affirmed that he would like to give more voice to Waluigi, affirming that I think he should get his own game in which you have to cheat to win». Given the long association of Martinet with Mario, many fans were surprised last month when Nintendo announced that he would not interpret Mario in the next animated movie of Illumination. The character is being expressed by Chris Pratt in the film, while Martinet will continue to appear in some way. This has generated a debate among fans about whether to Martinet should have offered the full role. While Martinet has expressed Mario for almost 30 years, the character traditionally speaks in small phrases in the games, instead of full sentences. That will not be the case in the movie, which could be part of the reason why Nintendo and Illumination opted to go in a different direction.
